CAFOD Harvest event

Next Friday 2nd October we are supporting the CAFOD Harvest Appeal - children are invited to wear their own clothes for a small donation.
CAFOD is the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. They work with communities around the world to enable people to access clean water, food, healthcare and education. CAFOD work in times of crisis and for the long term to support people to live with dignity and hope.

Inspired by our school's love of reading, we're aiming to raise money to fund as many "Teach someone to read" gifts as we can - just £12 pays for reading and writing classes. This helps people build their skills so they can support their families, increase their confidence and discover the joy of reading.
