Today we had a wonderful visit from Lucy from the Good Taste organisation. She spoke to the children about trade - what makes it fair or unfair and why it is important to buy goods that pay farmers fairly.

She talked about the difference that fair trade products make to the producers - something that is key to the Catholic Social Teaching principles of solidarity and the preferential option for the poor.

The children really enjoyed her interactive assembly! Look out for the Fair Trade logo in your next supermarket shop!
