In prayer club this week we reflected on the story of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple as this feast was celebrated on Monday.

After sharing our own prayers of where we want Jesus to shine His light, we then thought about how Jesus is the light of the whole world; He came for everyone. We used globes and atlases to help us find places we wanted to pray for. This included praying for people affected by floods in Colombia, for the people of Ukraine, and for peace in the Middle East. We brought all these places to Jesus and asked Him to shine His light there.
