During advent, the children will bring home the travelling crib advent bag. The bag has a nativity set, candles and prayers. 

This is a special opportunity to have some prayer and reflection together with the crib to help us prepare for Jesus coming at Christmas. You might like to talk about the Christmas story, what Christmas means to you, things your family would like to pray for, listen to some advent songs etc.

There is also a book in the bag to share about your time together - your child might like to write a prayer, a reflection or draw a picture based on the prayer time. You might also like to take a photo of your child with the crib (or one from home if you have your own) which you could print or email to school. 

Because of numbers, it is likely that children will bring a set to share with siblings. Please remember to return the bag the next day so that all children get to experience this special time.
